Aged 8-25? Identify as LGBTQ+?
Or questioning your gender and/or sexuality?
SAYiT is here for you!

SAYiT runs youth groups for LGBTQ+ or questioning young people.

We appreciate how hard it can be to make the first step but we would love for you to get in touch. You don't have to be completely sure of your gender identity or sexuality - you'll always be met with understanding and a smile!

What to expect

We design and offer activities and workshops based on requests from members at our youth groups. Sessions have included poetry and drama workshops, handling animals, making tie-die tops, making music, and doing sports as well as educational sessions around autism, trans awareness, LGBTQ+ history and self care.

We run games nights, film nights, chill out sessions and a monthly outdoors session called Nature Connect!

We also facilitate a Steering Group, where young people can draw from their experiences of being LGBTQ+ and help shape the future of health and social care in Sheffield.

How to Join

If you are a young person wanting to join SAYiT, please fill out our online referral form. You can then choose a welcome session to attend. This gives you a chance to meet us and see if being involved with SAYiT will be the right fit for you.

If you are a professional referring a young person from another organisation please see here.

*We do not offer a drop in service.
