SAYiT work with schools, youth settings, colleges and universities across Sheffield who need extra support and information for LGBTQ+ students.
Training
We can create bespoke training sessions for staff regarding LGBTQ+ issues that you may face within schools.
Advice and Policies
We can give general advice for staff surrounding LGBTQ+ issues, as well as help with any policies regading LGBTQ+.
Classrooms
We offer education and classroom sessions for young people which are suitable for PSHE lessons, Respect/Anti-Bullying Week programmes or via young people’s organisations.
GSA
A GSA is a gender and sexuality alliance group. These are student-led groups who aim to work towards an accepting environment for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. The group isn’t just for people who identify as LGBTQ+ but anyone who believes in equality and LGBTQ+ rights.
