Introduction
We are a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity No. 1177477) dedicated to providing a youth-centered service delivering a broad range of services supporting the sexual, emotional and mental health and wellbeing, of LGBTQ+ young people and those who care for and support them.
We also improve knowledge, awareness and reduce discrimination and inequality through the provision of specialist training and education.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the rules for using our website, online platforms, events, and other services (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
Our Services are designed for:

Young participants: aged 8 to 25, who take part in our programmes with appropriate consent.

Parents or guardians: who may register or oversee participation by minors.

Volunteers, donors, and supporters: who engage with our work in other capacities.

Professionals: who work with and support LGBTQ+ young people.
Safeguarding and Child Protection
We are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people involved with our charity.
All staff and volunteers must adhere to our Safeguarding Policy, which aligns with the Children Act 1989 and
2004, and relevant guidance from the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
All our staff and volunteers have regular DBS checks and must complete PREVENT training and also Safeguarding Children and Young People training.
Any concerns about a child’s safety should be reported immediately to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) - Nicola Fearnley-Hill, 0114 308 1228.
Privacy and Data Protection
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and use your personal data.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Acceptable Use
When using our website or participating in our programmes, you agree to:

Participation in Programmes
To take part in our youth programmes, you will be required to complete a registration form and provide parental or guardian consent (where necessary).
By registering, you (and your parent/guardian, where applicable) agree to follow our programme rules and respect our staff, volunteers, and other participants.
We may occasionally record photographs or videos during activities for promotional or reporting purposes. Consent will always be sought in advance, and media will never be used without permission.
Donations and Fundraising
We are a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity No. 1177477).
Donations to SAYiT are voluntary and non-refundable, except where required by law.
If you make a donation, we will process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and HMRC requirements for Gift Aid (where applicable).
Intellectual Property
All materials, text, graphics, and media on our website and in our programmes are the property of SAYiT or used under licence.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any of our materials without our prior written permission. You may, however, share links to our content for charitable or educational purposes, provided you give proper credit.

Our Services are provided “as is” and for general information and community purposes.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that information is complete, up to date, or error-free.
