LGBTQ+ Training

SAYiT have developed five core training programmes, aimed at all businesses and service providers who want to ensure their environment is LGBTQ+ inclusive. Our aim is to assist everyone in how to become familiar with LGBTQ+ language and terminology, be more confident in understanding how LGBTQ+ people experience the world, and how to identify further support.

Our training is interactive, and provides space to ask questions. Training can be delivered online or in person. All training materials are provided by SAYiT.

All sessions are half a day and suitable for up to 20 attendees.

'It was really impactful and a wonderful learning experience'

'I now feel able to lead challenging discussions'

'Thanks so much for the training session today. It was very clear and straightforward but also thought-provoking. I liked your enthusiasm and the fact that you weren't phased by there being only 3 of us!'

'Fiona presented a very informative professional development session on LGBTQIA+ awareness in schools to our teaching and support staff as part of our ongoing CPD programme.

This type of training is critical in a secondary school setting to enable staff to successfully support our young people. Fiona presented in a way that helped staff to understand their vital role in this area.

We would recommend SAYiT's training to any staff body looking to increase their awareness of LGBTQIA+ in their school setting'
