Straight Allies Training

Over the past few months, two of our most dedicated young people (Jess & Patrick) have been working hard to devise a short training programme that they envisaged could be delivered to Hetrosexual young people for them to be deemed ‘Straight Allies’. The thinking behind the training is that you dont have to be a part of the LGBT community to stick up for and defend LGBT rights – that really it’s everyones responsibility. The training aimed to develop in individuals the skills and technigues to challange Homophobia, Transphobia and prejudice whenever and wherever it is witnessed.
The training was successfully delivered by Jess & Patrick on 25th March to a room full of eager ‘Straight Allies’ – Well Done Folks!
