Winter’s here and this year might feel tougher for many. There’s so much going on in the world right now that just doesn’t feel festive or jolly. But, thanks to you all, we have something to smile about at SAYiT.
We’re still on a high from our 21st birthday celebrations. And it’s all because of you… We are so grateful, and proud, to say that we have marked our birthday by smashing our SAYiT 10 challenge fundraising campaign target of £2100 (21st birthday remember).
With your help we have raised a phenomenal £2267 for the Noah Lomax Fund.
The SAYiT Noah Lomax Fund supports the mental health of young LGBT+ people in Sheffield and the surrounding area, by providing counselling and a hardship fund. The fund has been up and running since early 2019 and is managed by SAYiT. We have supported so many young people, particularly during lockdown, that the funds are now dwindling.

We want to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful supporters of SAYiT who have donated, shared our challenges afar, and shown their support.
We also want to celebrate the ‘challengers’ who braved a brilliant array of 10 themed challenges for donations to the Noah Lomax Fund. Here’s Caroline at the end of her 10th 10k!

Over 300km ran!
10 queer books read in 10 weeks
1 head shaved (with a sneaky 10 shaved into the back)

10 tattoos in a sitting!
10 languages learnt (to say the phrase ‘I support LGBT rights’)
And lots more…
Thank you for your support. The fund makes such a difference to the lives of LGBT+ young people and thanks to you we can continue to offer this lifeline.
