We are deeply concerned by recent decisions by Girlguiding and the Women’s Institute to exclude trans girls and young women. We see this as yet another attack on the rights of trans people and a violation of their dignity and right to belong. Our message is clear: trans and non-binary young people are welcome at SAYiT. Our Fruitbowl group ran a Dragons Den inspired session where the young people had to create products based on 2 random words (one descriptive, one object). They then presented their products to the dragons who decided how much to invest and the group who had the most won!
