Trustees

We feel passionately that our trustee board should be truly reflective of the young LGBT+ people we serve. So, we are encouraging enquiries from people of all backgrounds and (especially those) from people of colour and/or trans people. Given the nature of our work, we are also keen to add more young LGBTQ+ voices to the board too – so please do get in touch if you are a 16-25 year old who wants to find out more about working with SAYiT!

It is not necessary to have previous trustee board/committee experience or knowledge, as training will be provided. So, this position would suit anyone looking to take their first steps to develop board level and/or governance experience.

What Our Staff Say

Staff Member

"I like working for an organisation where you have the opportunity to work creatively and see projects through from conception to completion. We aren’t held back by bureaucracy, but have the freedom to make real changes in the world. We are a team held together by a strong sense of community and shared values – I feel I can be myself, I am understood by my colleagues and I can rely on a shared sense of purpose when developing and delivering work. A lot of staff comment on the laughs we have at work and that is something I experience too – a shared sense of humour means I enjoy working with my colleagues even though we are often working with difficult issues."
