Pride Month Workshop

For Pride Month this year, SAYiT are offering our multi agency CPD-accredited LGBTQ+ Awareness Training as a face-to-face workshop. This half day session will cover everything from the difference between sexuality, sex and gender, right through to the language and terminology used by the LGBTQ+ community, and the current UK laws that protect us.

Learning outcomes include:

• A clear understanding of the difference between sex and gender.
• How to promote inclusion, and be a better ally.
• Understanding the true impact of LGBTQ+ discrimination.
• A familiarity with key terms, language and LGBTQ+ identities.
• Aware of the laws that protect LGBTQ+ people.
• How to identify appropriate support and signposting.

Our CPD-accredited LGBTQ+ Awareness Workshop will be delivered face to face in the training room at our Sheffield office on Division Street on Thursday 20th June, 1pm-3.30pm. It is ideal for businesses who have already have LGBTQ+ training, but would like a new staff member to have the opportunity to receive the same, or for small businesses and charities who only wish to send one or two people to LGBTQ+ training.
